What information should I have on hand when I call A Blooming Place? If you are having the flowers delivered, have the recipient’s full name, address and telephone number ready. Any special information such as a work/home number or times the recipient will be at work/home is also helpful. Determine your budget before the call and have your payment information ready. Consider your card message before calling also. If you’re not sure, we can make suggestions to help you.

Will A Blooming Place take my order over the phone if I have never ordered before? Yes, A Blooming Place will take phone orders if you have a major credit card. For your convenience, your credit card information can be kept securely “on file” for future orders. We will establish an in-house account for our corporate customers after you have made an initial order.

I don’t know anything about flowers. Where can I get information? We can suggest design styles & flower types for any occasion. You can also look at our Ordering Advice page to learn more. Build a relationship with us, and let A Blooming Place be your floral mentor.

Can A Blooming Place make a special design for me? Absolutely! That's what we do best! Describe to us what you have in mind or ask for creative suggestions. Nothing is more personal than a made-just-for-you floral arrangement from A Blooming Place.

I never know what to write on the enclosure card. Do you have any suggestions? Ask us for some appropriate suggestions. We have seen thousands of cards and have a few ideas to suit your occasion. You may also want to look at poetry or a book of quotes for ideas. Try online.

Do certain flowers mean certain things? What if I send the wrong thing? There are no rules when it comes to sending flowers. With a little thought and help from the designers A Blooming Place, it’s virtually impossible for you to send the “wrong thing”. Consider the recipient’s age, gender and floral preferences (if you are aware of any). Share details about the personality of the recipient with us and we will take pleasure in customizing your arrangement.

If the person I want to order flowers for likes a certain flower, can I special order it? Certainly! Be sure you know the name of the flower, and if there’s a certain color you’ll need. Call us one to two weeks in advance if possible, as we may have to special order the flowers. The sooner we can order the flower, the better your chances are of having it in time for that special day.
